Melissa TerryMelissa B. Terry, Ed. S., is a 34-year education veteran of SC public schools having taught 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grades and serving as a literacy/instructional coach, assistant principal, and for the last six years as an elementary principal in Pickens County. A national board-certified specialist in early childhood education, she has presented at state and regional workshops on science methods, early literacy and writing, and project-based learning. She is a clinical instructor for Furman University and has taught graduate-level courses in content literacy, children’s literature, and project-based learning. She is married and has four children.
