Getting to know Mrs. Waldrop:
I graduated from Easley High School then moved to Anderson, SC in 2013. I have two children ages 11 and 9, a dog, and 4 cats. I have a Master's in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and did my student teaching as a sixth grade ELA SPED teacher at Robert Anderson Middle School in Anderson District Five. I look forward to my new journey here at Pickens Middle School.
We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Megan Shipman back to the math department at Pickens Middle School! She began her teaching career at Pickens Middle School in 2008. She taught ELA and Math here for 10 years in 6th and 7th grades. She also sponsored the yearbook for five years. She moved to Pickens Elementary School in 2018, where she taught fourth graders for five years. Mrs. Shipman said, "I am excited to be back teaching seventh graders!" Welcome Back! #sparkpride!

- The School District of Pickens County is making a transition to a new online registration system called FinalForms during the summer of 2023. The registration sites (linked below) will be unavailable until July 10, 2023.
This includes the New Student, Back to School, and Express Update sites.

Sparks summer basketball practice will begin soon. Girls basketball practce will be Monday's & Thursday's 9:30-11:30 beginning June 5th. Boys basketball practice will be Tuesday's & Thursday's 6:30-8:00 beginning June 6th. #sparkpride
