Monday, November 6, 2023 will be an eLearning Day only for our Six Mile, R.C. Edwards, D.W. Daniel High, and Project GO students due to remaining issues related to a water main break and probable water outages at these sites. Six Mile, RC Edwards, Daniel High, and Project GO students will not attend school in-person. ALL other Pickens County schools will attend in-person. This is a late decision and we apologize for the short notice. Your teacher will be contacting you with information about your child's assignments for tomorrow.

During arrival and dismissal on Aug 9, construction will need to block a lane at the entrance. There will be one lane to enter the drive, but it will go to three after the curve. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Please plan to attend one of the upcoming volunteer trainings at SME if you would like to chaperone, tutor, help on Field Day, or help out in the classroom. A background check is required for anyone who would be in direct contact with students ($25) and it is good for three years. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions at SME, you can attend at another Pickens County school. Here are dates when you can attend in coming weeks: August 8 at 9:00 am August 10 at 9:00 am August 18 at 9:00 am August 25 at 9:00 am August 31 at 5:15 pm
