🎬 June 22–26: Theatre

Monday, January 26, 2026, will be an eLearning Day for the School District of Pickens County (SDPC) due to the potential for winter weather and concerns about hazardous travel conditions. Students will not attend school in person.
PK - 2nd grade students will be bringing home a packet to complete for eLearning.
3rd grade - 5th grade students will find their assignments in Schoology.
Students will have 5 days to complete the work and turn it in after returning to school.

Just a reminder that VCOM’s Mobile Medical Team will return to Six Mile next Thursday, January 22 from 9:00AM–2:30PM, continuing to serve as an extension of Samaritan Health Clinic (a non-profit free clinic in Easley, SC).

Services Available For Everyone:

Free blood pressure, blood sugar, and Body Mass Index (BMI) screenings
Services Available For Uninsured Patients:

Full-scope primary care at no cost to the patient
After qualifying, patients will have access to the following services through our clinic: medical, dental, women's health, vision, audiology, pharmacy/prescription resources, diagnostic testing and imaging, and much more.
To qualify, individuals must:
Live in Pickens County
Bring photo ID
Provide proof of income for all household members (one month)
Services are offered in English & Spanish

The School District of Pickens County has opened 4K applications and 5K (kindergarten) registration for the 2026–27 school year. Children who are four years old on or before September 1, 2026, may apply for 4K (students must qualify through a screening process), and children who are five years old on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible for kindergarten.
